The essential requirements (SCHEDULE 1) are electromagnetic compatibility of electronic products.
Emission and immunity.
This ESSENTIAL describes the UK regulations (for England, Scotland and Wales) on EMC.
For all electric and electronic equipment with some exception.
The scope of equipment and technical requirements is still identical to EU EMC Directive 2014/30/EU.
NOTE:
1) Northern Ireland regulations are not covered by this CRF. At least use the CE mark for Northern Ireland.

Purpose of the instrument
The main objective of this instrument is to provide businesses with additional time to transition to the post-exit independent UK conformity assessment marking (UKCA) regime requirements, in order to legally place products on the market in Great Britain (England and Wales and Scotland).
