This ESSENTIAL describes the electrical safety regulations in the United Arabian Emirates, based on the Gulf Cooperation Council "Technical Regulation for Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances".

The Cabinet Resolution No. 6 of 2019 of the adoption of "Gulf Technical Regulation for Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances" in United Arab Emirates.
"Gulf Technical Regulation for Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances"
The General Product Safety Directive (BD-091005-04) shall apply to electrical equipment for topics not covered by this Technical Regulation. (Article 37)
