Article 95 - The employer must use a boiler, a boiler that uses liquid as a heat medium, pressure vessels, pressure resistant gas containers including various accessories that are qualified according to industrial product standards:
ISO standards, ASME standards, JIS standards, DIN standards, TRD standards, BS standards, EN standards, DOT standards or other equivalent standards as announced by the Director-General. (*) See Hints.
Article 97 - Assembly, installation, testing, use, repair, maintenance, inspection of boilers, boilers using liquid as a heat conductor or pressure vessels:
The employer must comply with the detailed specifications and instruction manual according to the type specified by the manufacturer. If there is no detailed feature and instruction manual thereof, the employer shall require the engineer to prepare detailed specifications and instruction manuals in writing and must provide copies of such documents for inspection by the safety inspector.
Details of features and instruction manuals according to paragraph one must be in Thai or other languages that employees can study and practice to ensure safety at work.
Article 108 - The employer shall use the water for feeding the boiler and control the quality of water used inside the boiler in accordance with the factory law, ASME standards , JIS standards, EN standards, ISO standards or or according to academic principles in engineering

Chapter II - Machinery, equipment, or material to be used in the factory
(5) Boiler, instrument using pressurized liquid or gas, compressor or reactor, and ducting system operating in connecting with such boiler and instrument, shall be designed, calculated, and constructed according to an acceptable standard, or pass the safety test to be in use, certified by licensed professional engineer or a private body prescribed by the Minister of Industry in the Government Gazette. An installation shall be steady and safe, equipped with safety device and other necessary components, and certified by a licensed professional engineer or a private body prescribed by the Minister of Industry in the Government Gazette.
(6) A pressure vessel shall meet an acceptable standard, be equipped with safety devices and necessary components with regard to technical requirement, and be certified by a licensed professional engineer or a private body designated by the Minister of Industry as published in the Government Gazette.
