This ESSENTIAL describes the regulatory requirements for activities in connection with radio within the territory of Taiwan. The NCC authority divides products into Controlled Telecommunication Radio-Frequency Devices (CTRFD), which is radio frequency equipment used in telecommunications, and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (TTE). The process for CTRFD should be examined in this ESSENTIAL. The process for Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (TTE) is prescribed in the ESSENTIAL ESS TWN telecom equipment.'
