Scope of this ESSENTIAL

This ESSENTIAL describes the machine safety requirement based on the final draft of CDT-180027:2018, published by the GSO for the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The Regulation is not yet in force, actual status: under final approval (JAN-2024).'

Scope of legislation

The final draft of CDT-180027:2018, published by the GSO for the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is the legislation. As soon as the draft has been agreed, the GCC member states have to set this regulation into force and withdraw all withstanding acts and standards, as defined in Article 38 - First version of the regulation Article 39 - Effective Date '
