Scope of legislation

This ESSENTIAL describes the legal obligations for manufacturers and the regulatory requirements for electrical equipment as specified in the technical regulation. Article 1.1: This technical regulation applies to low-voltage equipment that is released into circulation in the common customs territory of the Customs Union. Low-voltage equipment, which is subject to these technical regulations, includes electrical equipment intended for use at rated voltage from 50 to 1000 V (inclusive) alternating current and from 75 to 1500 V (inclusive) direct current. '
