Scope of legislation
The Administrative Measures for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products (Order No. 32 of 2016):
Article 3:
A. Electrical and electronic products, that are dependent on currents or electromagnetic fields to work or to generate, transmit and measure currents and fields for the purpose of DC rated working voltage up to 1500 volts, less than 1000 volts alternating current equipment and related products.

The Implementation Measures on Conformity Assessment System (Announcement No. 23 of 2019) prescribes the Implementation Measures (e.g. conformity assessment procedures).

These Implementation Measures must only be used for the following 12 products (Announcement No. 15 of 2018):

First batch of 12 products:
- Refrigerators (up to 800 l)
- Air conditioning systems (<= 14,000 W)
- Washing machines (<= 10 kg dry clothes)
- electric water heaters
- Printer (<= A3, <=60 pages/minute)
- Copier (<= A3, <=60 pages/minute)
- Fax machines
- Television
