Legislation in force: Art. 190. - The Health Services (Los Servicios de Salud) will establish in each case the reforms or minimum hygiene and safety measures that the jobs and the health of the workers advise. For this purpose, they may provide that competent officials visit the respective establishments and tasks at the times and opportunities they deem appropriate, and they shall set the term within which these reforms or measures must be carried out. Said visit may also be motivated by a complaint made by any person who reports the existence of a fact or circumstance that puts the health of workers at serious risk. Art. 191 - Labour Department (Dirección del Trabajo): Control of compliance with the basic legally required measures relating to the proper functioning of facilities, machines, equipment and work instruments REGULATION OF BOILERS, AUTOCLAVES AND EQUIPMENT THAT USE WATER STEAM Article 1.- This regulation establishes the conditions and safety requirements that boilers, autoclaves and equipment that use steam must comply with, in order to safeguard their safe operation and avoid damage to the health of people, and apply to: A. Steam boilers, heating boilers and thermal fluid boilers, whether fixed or mobile. B. Autoclaves and equipment that works with steam, at a manometric pressure equal to or greater than 0.5 kg/cm2. C. The steam distribution network, from the source of steam generation, to the consumption points of the entire process, its components and accessories. DECREE 67 APPROVES SAFETY REGULATIONS FOR LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS PLANTS Article 1: This regulation establishes the minimum safety requirements that Liquefied Natural Gas Plants must meet, in the stages of design, construction, operation, maintenance, inspection and definitive termination of operations, in which the activities of liquefaction of Natural Gas or reception, storage, transfer or regasification of Liquefied Natural Gas, hereinafter LNG, will be carried out. as well as the obligations of the natural and legal persons involved in such activities in order to develop them safely. The normative references of this decree refer to: - AD-Merkblatt - ASME-BPVC - BS - CODAP - UNE-EN Definitions; 5.18 Certification Body: National or foreign legal entity, authorized by the Superintendence according to the procedures determined by it, to issue the respective certificates of conformity or rejection reports of a product, system or installation. 5.19 Inspection Agency: A national or foreign legal entity, authorized by the Superintendence in accordance with the procedures determined by it, that carries out on-site activities of verification, measurement, testing and inspection of products, systems or facilities. Such activities can be performed during the construction stage, or during the operation or service of the facilities. In the latter case, these activities can be carried out periodically or at any time.
