ANATEL Ato (Act) 1120 (2018).
Act 1120, chapter 3: 3.1. The following provisions apply to telecommunications equipment. Other equipment that can perform telecommunications terminal functions or offer access to value added services, including the Internet, will be subject to specific regulations.
3.1.1. The Electromagnetic Disturbance Emission Requirements apply to equipment subject to compulsory approval. In the case of equipment that uses the radioelectric spectrum, the requirements for the emission of radiated electromagnetic disturbances described in this document are applicable only in the absence of requirements for intentional emission of radio frequency or spurious emission laid down in specific regulations on the product.
3.1.2. The Electromagnetic Disturbance Immunity Requirements apply to equipment classified as Category I and Category II Telecommunications Products, provided that they are intended for use by the general public (see item 10 ).
3.1.3. The Electromagnetic Disturbance Resistance Requirements apply to Category I and Category II Telecommunications Products, as long as they are intended for use by the general public.
Definitions (Act 1120, chapter 10) 10.1. The following devices are examples of products intended for telecommunications users:
10.1.1. All equipment classified as Category I Telecommunications Products.
10.1.2. The equipment classified as Category II Telecommunications Products listed below: a) Restricted radiation equipment b) Modem for earth station c) Transceiver with spectral spreading d) Trunked digital transceiver - base e) Satellite SMM transceiver f) Fixed rural base transceiver g) MMDS transceiver - return h) Auxiliary radio broadcasting service transceiver i) Digital transceivers j) Fixed, mobile and portable transceivers - AM k) Fixed, mobile and portable transceivers - FM l) Autocine transmitter m) Remote control transmitter n) Digital transmitters o) Fixed and mobile and portable transmitters - AM p) Fixed and mobile and portable transmitters - FM
Note: This list is only illustrative and may be expanded due to the identification of other products that are classifiable in the category II concept.'
