Comment on the comparability to EU legislation: The Australian Industrial Chemicals Act 2019 differs from EU REACH Regulation. They both follow a "no data, no substance" approach. But the Australian Act established a substance inventory in which introducers self-catgorise their substances, leaving just higher-risk substances to be assesst by the authorites. There are no Australian equivalents to the Candidate List, Annex XIV (Authorizations) or Annex XVII (Restrictions)....
